Visas for Visitors
Residents of 21 countries, including Australia, the U.S. and some European nations, are issued a 30-day visa upon arrival in Indonesia. Foreign nationals obtaining a visa on arrival must pay USD$25 in cash to obtain the proper immigration stamp. There is a short-term visa for a stay of 3-days/2-nights at the cost of USD$10.
For those nationals who must obtain a visa prior to arrival in Indonesia, you must contact the Indonesian Embassy or Indonesian Consul in advance. This visa also enables you to stay for a maximum of 30 days in Indonesia.
For those who wish to stay longer than 30 days your options are to obtain a Social Visa, or Business Visa. For more information on these types of visas it’s best to contact the Indonesian Embassy or Indonesian consul in your country or that of a nearby country. Not all the countries have Indonesian representation with an Embassy or Consulate.
